We had dinner at Kano Shokudo, located just a short walk from the south exit of Chigasaki Station (in front of Murasaki Sports).
The bright entrance light draws you in.
It is very nice to have a set meal in the evening!
Reasonably priced at 800 yen

As I waited, listening to the sizzling sound coming from the kitchen, tonight’s set meal A arrived!
Soup, hijiki and pickles set in a hearty portion
Slightly sweet Chinese miso-based seasoning makes the rice go down a treat!

I was full from the set meal alone, but I was also offered 6 yaki-gyoza (grilled dumplings) as a service for registering on line!
It is sticky and juicy and very satisfying too!
Thank you for the food.
