I went to a restaurant specializing in tuna, which I had been curious about in Chigasaki!
3 minutes walk from South Exit of JR Chigasaki Station.
Lunch starts at 11:30.
When we arrived a little before 11:30, there were already two groups of customers ahead of us! (By the way, they say you can only make reservations at 11:30.)
We were seated on the terrace. It was a beautiful autumn day and the terrace was perfect!
There is a drink bar in the center of the restaurant, and to our surprise, it was free.
Barley tea, corn tea, coffee, juice, and even red shiso wine!
As a side note, the background music in the restaurant is the Beatles, which makes me even more excited as I love the Beatles!
I had perused the menu on the website the day before and was absolutely certain I wanted to try it! I ordered the “Luxury Tuna Bowl (1,580 yen),” which I had been looking forward to trying the previous day after perusing the menu on the website.
Hiya! This is awesome!
Tuna overflowing from the bowl! Tuna! Tuna!
O-toro, chutoro, akami, and chubu-firi (medium fatty tuna) are laid in various places on rice.
Each piece is thick and fresh with no odor at all!
I have never enjoyed tuna so much.
Eat or eat, tuna~!
Ah, happiness.
My friend had the luxury daily seafood set meal (1,680 yen).
This set meal features tuna and fresh fish from the morning.
I was so happy to see that it came with fried horse mackerel. I was given a bite of the plump, thick horse mackerel with a crispy batter!
The restaurant filled up quickly, and after midnight there were several groups lined up outside the restaurant.
Next time I would like to book the 11:30 time to go.
I was able to eat the tuna bowl that I had longed for and said, “It was delicious~! It was delicious! I left the restaurant.
Thank you for the food!
Umi.
