I love fruit daifuku.

I love fruit, and I like to choose gluten-free as much as possible, so for me, Fruit Daifuku is the perfect sweet treat!

The new item we encountered this time was Kanetaya’s new sensation of fruit daifuku.

Kanadaya Tokusen Strawberry In-store display

The store is located in “GINZA SWEETS MARCH” on the first floor of Ginza’s commercial facility, Exit Mersa.

A fashionable restaurant with a black base color that exudes a sense of luxury.

There is space inside the restaurant to eat in (standing room only).

I wanted to enjoy it slowly, so I took it out.

A sample of Daifuku fruit is spinning around.

◎Features of Kanada-ya

Unlike Daifuku, which is made by wrapping whole fruits in white bean paste and rice cake, “decoration Daifuku” is made by stretching Daifuku flat and decorating it with fruits.

The black gyuhi, kneaded with bamboo charcoal, is filled with white bean paste made from Hokkaido azuki beans and cream cheese, and decorated with selected fruits.

They are individually packaged in a decorative box.

Under the base of the decorative box is a refrigerant.

First, the main product, “Tokusen Strawberry”. 1100 yen (tax included)

It is like a cake!

Now, how shall we eat?

How to enjoy Kanetaya Fruit Daifuku

I see, first of all, you divide it into upper and lower sections.

Kanadaya Specially Selected Strawberry

The top half is strawberries and cream cheese. This cream cheese is very delicious!

The bottom half is another strawberry and cream cheese on top of the daifuku. All together, it was irresistible!

Something tells me that cream cheese is the key.

I chose the second…

Kanadaya grape grapes 1200 yen (tax included)

Seasonal “Kyoho” grapes.

Again, the cream cheese blends harmoniously with the grape and daifuku, delicious!

Since the fruit is not wrapped in daifuku, you can taste the anko (red bean paste) and mochi (rice cake).

In terms of the deliciousness of the fruit, I think Bensaiten wins. However, Kanadaya’s Daifuku fruit is sure to be appreciated as a souvenir or a gift since it looks so good!

The excitement starts from the opening of the cosmetic box!

It was a fun and delicious time.

Thank you for the food… ♪
