Hello, Umi here.
Today, I would like to introduce a restaurant that impressed me as a seafood lover!
It’s really too good to be true, and I’m sure this article will be filled with excitement throughout, but please bear with me.
We visited…
Located a 2-minute walk from the south exit of Chigasaki Station,
Sushi Restaurant Asamaru!
The main restaurant “Amimoto Ryori Asamaru” is located on the Chigasaki Coast and seems to be very popular there as well!
This “Sushi Restaurant Asamaru” is only a 2-minute walk from Chigasaki Station, making it easy to get to by train.
Open for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays, we entered the restaurant as soon as it opened at 11:30.
When I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a young boarder,
Welcome!
He welcomed us with great enthusiasm.
The restaurant is spacious with counter and table seating.
There were stairs going up to the second floor, so I wonder if there is upstairs seating?
The menu is extensive!
From the lunch menu, “Makanai-don” ¥1450 (tax included)
Donburi, tempura, small bowls and bowls.
Tempura was kakiage (tempura tempura with shirasu seaweed), a small bowl of cooked yellowtail, and the bowl of soup was arajiru, which was full of meat.
A large bowl of rice topped with as many ingredients as possible! The large bowl is filled with a variety of ingredients. Plenty of fresh shirasu (baby sardines).
Another item on the lunch menu is the “Shirasu Zukushi Gozen” for ¥1,650 (tax included).
Fresh shirasu, grated shirasu, shirasu salad, shirasu tempura, 4 pieces of sushi, and a bowl.
The first thing that surprised me was the amount of shirasu!
A substantial amount of shirasu is served on each of the plates of raw shirasu, grated shirasu, and shirasu salad.
Shirasu heaven!
Fresh shirasu has no bitterness or odor at all, and tastes “clear” if that is the literal word! Freshness itself!
Incidentally, you cannot eat raw shirasu between January 1 and March 10 due to the raw shirasu fishing prohibition period.
The grated whitebait is fluffy and fluffy.
Shirasu tempura with finely sliced pumpkin.
The sushi items are thick and delicious. The sushi rice is also very tasty.
Each bite brings a smile to my face. Too happy~.
There was a female customer at the counter, her sister,
I’ll have the crab miso pasta, please.”
Hmm? Pasta?
Pasta in a sushi restaurant?
I was curious to check the menu.
………!!!!
There it is! Crab Miso Pasta!
After a while, I glanced at the pasta that was brought to the lady and it looked so good!
There were many other items on the menu that I was interested in, so I hope to go back.
The food at Asamaru Sushi Restaurant is not only delicious, but the staff is very energetic and friendly.
Even as we were leaving, the young chef was speaking loudly.
Thank you so much!”
He saw me off.
Thank you for the food!
Umi.
