Today’s lunch is at “Japanese food and cafe chawan” Laska Chigasaki.

After entering the restaurant, I learned that this restaurant is a new brand created in 2015 by Sukaira Corporation.

There are so many items on the menu that it is hard to choose, but today my body was craving meat, so I chose from the meat menu.

First of all, here it is.

If you choose a bowl menu…

It comes with a main bowl of rice, a choice of five side dishes, miso soup made with local miso (refill free), and a small bowl of cooked food that changes with the seasons.

For side dishes, we chose fried oysters from Hiroshima Prefecture.

Roast beef rice, delicious!

Each piece of meat is firm in thickness and size, yet tender. The rich soy sauce sauce and onsen tamago (hot spring egg), plus the addition of yam, doubles the deliciousness.

The side dish of fried oysters is also large and hearty! Plenty of tartar sauce.

Choose a set meal menu…

You can choose from three types of rice: white rice, quinoa rice with black rice, or jako gohan (rice with baby sardines), and free refills. Miso soup made with local miso is also available for free refills. A small bowl of cooked food and pickles, which change seasonally, are also included.

The thickly cut ribeye steak is tender and perfectly cooked. The flavor of the meat is enhanced by the Japanese soy sauce with plenty of grated daikon and aromatic vegetables such as shiso leaves and onions.

For rice, I chose quinoa rice and it was delicious!

The interior of the restaurant was decorated in a wood-grain style, with comfortable seating and a relaxing atmosphere.

The tableware used was all colorful, cute, and particular.

Delicious rice tastes even better.

There was a wide variety of cafes and dessert menus, so I hope to go there for tea next time.

I love chicken soup, so when I saw the menu, I immediately decided to try it!

Salted malted rice and ginger chicken soup ¥989 (tax included)

I ordered a single item,

A set meal including grilled rice balls with 13-grain rice, kimchi, and pickles is also available for 1209 yen (tax included).

It is filled with chicken meat, which is tenderized by a unique method, Chinese cabbage, maitake mushrooms, and shimeji mushrooms.

The pot is hot!

The usual style of chicken soup is a whole chicken stuffed with many ingredients, but this dish is arranged in a way that makes it easy to eat.

It is riddled with large cuts of chicken. The Chinese cabbage is also tender and deliciously cooked.

It’s a pot.

The soup is based on salted malted rice and ginger, with additions of jujube and wolfberry nuts, and has a gently penetrating flavor.

It seemed to be devised to be really easy to eat without the unique taste of medicinal herbs.

This is a limited time menu until November 23.
