November is already half over…
In a month, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day!
I thought the year had just begun the other day, but time is passing at an extraordinary pace.
Is that how fulfilling it is?
Is it because of aging?
Today, I’d like to talk about Christmas.
Every Christmas, just before (or on the day of) the holiday, people start asking themselves, “What should we do with the chicken? Where do we buy the cake? Where do we buy the cake?
If it were just me, I would be satisfied with just one expensive sweet,
When you have a family, you want to have a “Christmas party” type of thing.
Especially for my daughter, every year she prepares a letter and candy for Santa, puts on a Santa hat, eats cake while singing Christmas songs, and goes to bed early while eagerly awaiting Santa! (She’s in middle school this year, but we’ll see…) This is a big event!
In the past, I have tried to make all the dishes from scratch, buy hors d’oeuvres at department stores, buy chicken at Kentucky, order pizza for delivery, eat out, etc., etc., etc. every Christmas.
And the one thing they all have in common is “Crowding!!!!”
December 24 and 25 are very crowded everywhere!
There is a long line at the checkout counter of the supermarket, the department store is crowded with people, pizza delivery does not come easily, Kentucky is crowded even if you have made a reservation, restaurants have a long wait even if you go early, the roads around the place are crowded, the parking lot is full when you finally get there, and you have to buy chicken, cake, and so on. When you finally arrive at the restaurant, the parking lot is full, and it takes an absurd amount of time to get from one place to the next, buying a chicken at 00 and a cake at △△△.
By the time I was about to say, “Bon appétit,” I was exhausted.
So I heard from a fellow housewife at work last year.
Christmas at the Convenience Store!”
That is to say.
If you make a reservation, you can get your chicken, pizza, and cake in one place on the day of the event, and it’s delicious and easy~! I’ll be back soon.
Me, I’d never been through a convenience store before!
(↑This catalog is for this year)
I immediately went to Lawson on my way home that day to get a catalog, choose my chicken and cake, and make a reservation…
We were able to reserve the chicken, but the cake my daughter wanted was already sold out!
It was early December, so I was late – I’m sorry.
We changed to a different cake and had a successful Christmas, but this year I definitely want to get the cake I didn’t get to eat last year!
Already booked this year!
Here it is.
Assortment of 12 mini cakes. So cute!
And roast chicken.
Incidentally, although many convenience stores sell roast chicken, only Lawson and Ministop offer roast chicken made from a whole chicken.
Also, my daughter requested pizza.
We made reservations at Lawson because we wanted a whole roasted chicken and the cake we were looking for, but the Christmas products at 7-Eleven and Family Mart were also awesome!
Each company has chicken, pizza, and hors d’oeuvres, not to mention a wide variety of cakes!
Many cakes supervised by famous brands and famous restaurants!
Seven-Eleven offers this cute cake!
Also from Family Mart ~!
7-Eleven’s, Gerapique’s cake is so cute! I want to eat it!
Let’s have two Christmas parties!
