Today’s snack.
The No. 1 Shin-Yokohama Station souvenir, Wishbon “Yokohama Brick Street.
The savory roasted almonds are mixed with homemade raw caramel, sandwiched in a special cookie dough, and baked slowly. The secret to the deliciousness of our homemade raw caramel, which our patissier cooks in a copper pot with all his heart, is the “ingredients,” “manufacturing method,” and “amount of heat. Please try our long-selling product. (quoted from the Wishbon website)”.
It was purchased at the Bell Mart kiosk in the ticket gates of JR Shin-Yokohama Station.
These souvenir sweets are great as gifts because there are so many in one box, but you don’t often go out of your way to buy them for yourself, do you?
I found a pack of 3 perfect for myself and bought them. The price is 351 yen (tax included).
For a taste before giving as a souvenir…for a snack on the bullet train…just right…3 pieces.
Each one is individually wrapped.
The middle portion is a rich homemade raw caramel with roasted almond slices.
The raw caramel is sandwiched between milk-flavored special cookie dough and topped with a generous amount of fragrant, browned almond slices.
It is large enough to eat in two bites, but one bite is quite satisfying!
With raw caramel, moist cookies, and almond slices, you can enjoy many textures in one bite.
Goes well with coffee.
This is sure to be a great souvenir!
Thanks for the food~♪
