Yesterday’s snack.
A pop-up store of “THE SWEETS” is open from 12/1㈭ to 12/22 (Thursday) at the station building “Cubic Plaza Shin-Yokohama 3rd Floor Q Hiroba” (across from Starbucks) directly connected to Shin-Yokohama Station.
Yesterday, 12/1, was the first day!
When I looked in the store, the clerk was very nice! She was very kind & polite.
We were told that “THE SWEETS” is an original sweets brand of “Shady,” a major catalog gift seller.
This was a pop-up store for “Caramel Sandwich Cookies,” a very popular product of “THE SWEETS!
Caramel sandwich cookies are made by sandwiching caramel-filled chocolate with butter-filled cookie dough.
We were given a whole piece for a tasting! Isn’t that too generous!
I tried them right then and there and, well, they were delicious! I decided to buy a package of 6 for myself.
6 pieces are 1080 yen each, 12 pieces are 1620 yen each, and 16 pieces are 2160 yen each (all tax included).
There was also a 21-pack of 3,240 yen and a 36-pack of 5,400 yen (all tax included) that included the new “coffee” flavor that was introduced in November.
*The coffee flavor is only sold as a set with the original flavor.
I came home and ate another one – and then I ate another one.
Each cookie is thick and chunky.
The cookies are crispy and the caramel sandwiches are sticky, and when combined with the chocolate, you can still taste the caramel flavor.
One piece is quite satisfying.
In addition to caramel sandwich cookies, the store also had Christmas items such as advent calendars.
This must also be a Shady product.
Along with caramel sandwich cookies, they would make great souvenirs!
Pop-up stores are not always held, so now is your chance!
