Today’s snack.
Lawson’s “Awashocolat Chocolate Banana Flavor” and “Onshu Mikan Daifuku” snacks were released on December 13, 2022.
The first one is “Awashokora Chocolate Banana Flavor.
“Awa chocolat”?
It says “banana agar mousse with chocolate” and I’m really curious!
The price was ¥218 (including tax), 30 kcal per piece x 5 pieces.
There were five individually wrapped pieces in each package.
The illustration of a chocolate banana on the package is cute.
Cube-shaped, with chocolate coating around the cube.
When cut in half, the inside is banana-colored agar mousse.
The texture is glutinous and elastic.
When I tried it…
It tastes like chocolate banana. The agar mousse inside has a texture somewhere between gummy and marshmallow.
I think “Jerry” is a good word for it.
It was a pastry with an interesting texture!
The second is “Onshu Mikan Daifuku.
I love Daifuku fruit, so I didn’t hesitate to buy it.
The price is ¥178 (tax included), 40 kcal per piece x 7 pieces.
Beautiful orange color. The white powder of Daifuku gives it a tangerine-like appearance.
The rice cake was filled with red bean paste with Onshu mandarin orange sauce.
Hmmm, this is a big blessing or what….
It’s just a category of “snacks,” so there’s nothing we can do about it.
The outer rice cake has a gummy texture.
The bean paste inside is jam-like.
It had an artificial sweetness.
No, it’s a “candy”!
Both “Awa Chocolat” and “Mikan Daifuku” seemed to be popular with the children! It was a fun snack.
Thank you for the food… ♪
