Today’s pudding.
Ogiso Buckwheat Tea Pudding” by Ogiso Flour Mill.
Ogiso Flour Mill is a buckwheat noodle shop that operates nationwide, mainly in Nagano Prefecture.
I visited when I went to Nagano Prefecture for various reasons.
The price of Zaru-soba is 590 yen (tax included) regardless of whether you order a medium, medium, or large portion!
This is a delightful service that allows you to enjoy a full meal of delicious soba noodles.
Ogiso Flour Mill also has pudding!
This must be milky.
The pudding is smooth and bavarois-like in texture.
I can only remember drinking buckwheat tea a few times before, but it was very savory and delicious!
Just as hojicha goes well with milk, buckwheat tea goes well with milk!
It is not too sweet and has a milky richness.
This pudding, there was no labeling of ingredients, etc… I was curious, so I inquired.
Then, I received a very polite reply from Ogiso Flour Mill – thank you! Thank you very much!
Ingredients are “milk, cream, sanonto sugar, buckwheat tea, gelatin, and agar agar”.
I see! So the gentle sweetness is due to the use of sangen sugar?
The smooth and pliable texture is gelatin and agar agar.
I was very happy because I did not expect to find pudding at a buckwheat noodle restaurant!
The pudding was a nice slurping experience that could be enjoyed even after a full meal of soba noodles.
