This is “Miruku Pudding” by Tanna Milk (Tannan Eastern Agricultural Cooperative).
Tanna Milk is a dairy manufacturer in the Tanna Basin, which stretches to the east of the town of Tanna in the northern part of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture.
This pudding was purchased at a store called “Kodawariya” – a store that sells a variety of puddings.
Kodawariya” specializes in foods made mainly from domestic ingredients and Japanese and foreign organic foods that contain as little scientific pesticides, fertilizers, and synthetic additives as possible.
It is fun to visit stores that sell natural foods because you can find puddings that you don’t usually find in supermarkets or convenience stores.
The pudding comes in sets of three.
This pudding is made with milk and heirloom eggs from a limited number of dairy farms in Tanna.
When you open the lid, you will see a pure white pudding!

It tastes like insanely fresh milk!
It is full-bodied, yet has a refreshing aftertaste and no odor at all!
It is said that plenty of high-quality fresh cream is added, with no vegetable fats or other mixtures, giving it the richness of fresh cream.
Another key point is that no emulsifiers, fragrances, or other additives are used.
Similar to panna cotta? But not really. “Milk” is the main ingredient in this pudding.
And the wonderful thing about this pudding is that it also has the richness of eggs!
After the rich flavor of milk, the egginess comes gradually.
It has a hardened consistency with about half the power of the egg and half the power of the agar.
The taste of fresh milk filled my mouth with this pudding!
