Today’s pudding.
This is Seven-Eleven’s “Dalgona Coffee & Melting Milk Pudding”.
Seven-Eleven held the “Korean Gourmet Fair”, and many delicious Korean rice and sweets were on sale.
There was also pudding among them!
I didn’t know “Dalgona Coffee”, but it’s a very popular drink from Korea!
What is “Dalgona Coffee”?
A beverage made by whipping instant coffee, sugar and hot water in equal proportions, and then placing them on cold or hot milk. (Reference: Wikipedia)
It is characterized by two layers of coffee-colored whip and milk, and “Dalgona” means a snack like the Japan carume grill in Korean.
I have never drunk Dalgona coffee, but this pudding seems to be a faithful reproduction of Dalgona coffee.
Milk pudding is topped with coffee whipped cream and cocoa powder.
The way the whip is squeezed is beautiful.
The whipped cream is fluffy!
The aroma of bitter coffee spreads.
The amount of whipped cream is large, but it has a light mouthfeel.
I arrived at Pudding.
The milk pudding is thick.
It has a modest sweetness and a delicious milk taste.
It is not a rich creamy feeling, but a light pudding with an agar feeling. However, the texture is smooth.
When I ate a thick cup of whipped cream and light milk pudding together, I thought, “Oh! You can understand the deliciousness of Dalgona coffee.
The point of deliciousness seems to be that the milk pudding is not too sweet.
It was fluffy and delicious!
