Today’s pudding.
This is Mr. Gyokukado’s “Gyokukado no Kyokupurin (Aoi crest)”.
This pudding I bought when I went out to Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Gyokkado is a Japanese and Western confectionery store founded in Meiji 23 with its head office in Imanoura, Iwata City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
“Gyokukado no Gokupurin” is a very popular pudding that won the “Honorary President’s Award” at the National Confectionery Exposition and sells out 350,000 bottles a year!
I bought it at a kiosk in Hamamatsu Station.
“Gyokukado no Gokupurin” comes in several flavors, and I thought this was “plain”…
・ This “Aoi no Crest” version is currently only available for external sales (KIOSK in some stations in Shizuoka Prefecture).
・ Some specifications are different from “Gokupurin (plain)”, and “plain” contains vanilla beans, but “Aoi crest” does not.
・ Gyokukado’s directly managed stores or mail order do not handle “Aoi no Crest”.
It seems that it is.
(I contacted Mr. Gyokukado and asked.) Thank you, Gyokukado, for your polite reply! )
The pudding comes in a glass jar and the caramel sauce is served separately.
So creamy!!
It’s so smooth! !!
It’s thick and fluffy, and the richness of milk and cream is amazing! !!
It tastes like the soft-serve ice cream you eat on the ranch.
It is very soft and melts when you put it in your mouth, but the rich rich aftertaste does not disappear and is delicious.
However, the sweetness is not dull and there is a refreshing feeling.
It is served with caramel sauce as a side dish.
To be honest, the pudding alone is more than delicious, so I thought I didn’t need caramel sauce (it would be a waste to sprinkle it on) …
It was delicious even if I put it on! !!
I want to eat another one!!
I also want to try the “plain” that contains vanilla beans.
